TACURONG CITY — A notorious criminal involved in several crimes, including homicide and robbery, was killed by local authorities here in an encounter on Sunday afternoon.

The killed suspect was identified as Danilo “Neneng” Estorba, who had been hiding from the police for the different charges that were filed against him, with a total of P150,000 bounty on his.

Police Regional Office-Soccsksargen Director Alex Paul Monteagudo said the intelligence operatives of the Southern Cotabato Police Provincial Office sighted Estorba at Purok Pagasa, Barangay Sampao in Lutayan.

DAVAO CITY — Carnapping syndicate leader Ryan Cain “Baktin” Yu is no longer in the Philippines and can now be hiding anywhere in Asia, a top city official said Sunday.

Vice Mayor Rodrigo Duterte said in his Sunday television program “Gikan sa Masa para sa Masa” that Yu flew off to Thailand earlier this month.

The vice mayor said they were furnished by the Thailand authorities a picture of Yu taken while passing through its Immigration bureau.
